GHK-Cu Protocol
An Educational Overview of Skin Health, Collagen Support, and Cellular Recovery
The GHK-Cu protocol is designed to support skin health, tissue repair, and overall recovery at the cellular level.
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide studied for its role in collagen production, tissue regeneration, skin rejuvenation, and healthy aging support.
This protocol overview is provided for educational purposes only and should not replace guidance from a licensed healthcare professional.
Understanding Skin Health and Tissue Repair
The body relies on natural repair processes to maintain healthy skin, support healing, and reduce inflammation.
GHK-Cu is studied for its ability to support these processes by encouraging collagen formation, improving skin appearance, and promoting tissue repair.
The primary component of this protocol is:
• GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)
Purpose of the Protocol
This protocol is designed to support:
• Healthier skin appearance and elasticity
• Collagen production and skin firmness
• Support for hair and scalp health
• Tissue repair and wound recovery
• Reduced visible signs of aging
• Overall cellular recovery and wellness
Who This Protocol May Be For
This protocol may be appropriate for individuals who:
• Are adults in generally good health
• Want to support healthier skin and collagen production
• Want to improve skin texture or appearance
• Are interested in hair or scalp support
• Want to support recovery and tissue repair
• Are interested in healthy aging support
Individuals with medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any protocol.
Who Should NOT Use This Protocol
This protocol may not be appropriate for individuals who:
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active skin infections or wounds requiring medical care
• Have uncontrolled medical conditions
• Are undergoing treatment without medical supervision
• Have sensitivities to copper-containing compounds
Individuals who are unsure should consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Recommended Starting Health Checks
• Skin condition
• Hair health (if applicable)
• Areas needing repair or recovery
• Overall wellness status
Treatment Plan Overview
Route: subQ / topical / nasal
Areas: Abdomen, thigh, glute, scalp, skin area, or as directed
Frequency: Daily or Every Other Day (EOD)
Timing: Morning or evening
Duration: 4–6 weeks
Starting Phase
To allow the body time to adjust, begin with a low dose and increase gradually if needed.
Week 1:
• Begin with lower end of dosing range
• Monitor skin response, hydration, and recovery
• Assess tolerance before increasing frequency
Week 2–4:
• Continue selected dose daily or EOD
• Track visible improvements in skin and recovery
Week 4–6:
• Continue until desired results are achieved
• Reduce frequency as improvements stabilize
Dosing & Mixing Guide
GHK-Cu Premix – 50mg
• 1mg = 4 units
• 2mg = 8 units
GHK-Cu Standard Vials
50mg Vial:
• Add 3mL BAC water
• Draw 25 micro units EOD
100mg Vial:
• Add 5mL BAC water
• Draw 10–15 micro units daily or EOD
Routes: subQ / topical / nasal
Step 1: Mixing
• Add BAC water slowly into the vial
• Let the powder fully dissolve (do not shake hard)
Step 2: Understanding Your Syringe
Use a U-100 insulin syringe for precise unit measurement.
The syringe is measured in units, not mg.
You will draw to a number on the syringe based on your selected dose.
These units equal your dose based on how the vial was mixed.
Step 3: How Much to Draw
Premix 50mg:
• 4 units = 1mg
• 8 units = 2mg
50mg + 3mL BAC:
• 25 micro units EOD
100mg + 5mL BAC:
• 10–15 micro units daily or EOD
If unsure, do not guess. Always double check before injecting.
Injection / Application Guidelines
• subQ: Inject under the skin using insulin syringe
• Topical: Apply as directed to clean skin area
• Nasal: Use only if prepared for nasal administration
• Clean area before use
• Rotate sites when injecting
Reconstitution Summary:
BAC Water: 3mL or 5mL depending on vial size
Syringe: U-100 insulin syringe (for precise unit measurement)
Storage: Keep refrigerated after reconstitution
Travel: If reconstituted, use a cooler or ice pack to keep cold
Progress Monitoring
Baseline (Before Starting):
• Skin condition
• Areas of concern
• Hair/scalp condition (if applicable)
Week 2
• Evaluate hydration and skin response
• Assess early recovery improvements
Week 4
• Review skin texture and appearance
• Assess tissue repair progress
Week 6
• Final evaluation of skin health
• Review overall results and maintenance plan
Safety and Adjustments
• Injection site irritation → rotate injection locations
• Skin sensitivity → reduce frequency if needed
• Fatigue → ensure proper hydration and recovery
• Unexpected reactions → discontinue use and seek professional guidance
